wedding film | patsy and chloe wed beneath the trees of vashon island, washington

chloe and patsy's wedding took place on an unseasonably warm spring day on the enchanting vashon island of washington.

my husband, mark, and i, boarded the ferry from seattle the evening before - to our great delight. you see, we absolutely love riding the ferries and make any excuse to do so.

they're romantic and often chilly from the wind. and their massive size never fails to impress and astound me.

so it was an exciting start to this wedding trip, to say the least.

___

chloe & patsy and the people that surrounded them this day, are exactly why we (mark and i) are in this line of work. so we can board ferries. and witness these kinds of holy moments.

marriage was not in the plan for chloe and patsy. but that changed. and when it did, their loved ones rallied around them to make it happen.

to love is to be brave and vulnerable at the same time.

so thank you, to these two and their community. for reminding us to be brave, too.

p.s. this is ALSO the first wedding film mark and i shot together! and it features shots from his drone!

p.p.s. check out this sneak peak of hannah and sam's northern minnesota camp wedding - so stoked to share the full length video <3
